No credits spent when there is no text to translate

If Scan Translator finds no text at all to translate in an image, its reserved credit is now returned automatically.

  • Pages without text and artwork-only images no longer cost a credit when no text is detected.
  • The same protection restores Unlimited plan usage when no translation is needed.
  • Nothing to request: the refund is handled automatically when processing finishes.
  • If even a small amount of text is detected and translated, the image is processed normally and uses one credit.

Unlimited translations are now available

Scan Translator now has a monthly unlimited plan for readers who want to translate regularly, while one-time credit packs remain available.

  • Translate regularly with an unlimited plan instead of buying a credit pack every time.
  • The plan includes 20,000 fast translations every month. After that, keep translating even without credits. It may be slower when busy.
  • Use credits to keep fast translations after the monthly limit. The limit resets every month.

Screenshot patches for missed manga text

Auto translate can now stay active while Screenshot fills a missed speech bubble or small area that text detection missed.

  • Use Screenshot as a complement to auto translate instead of choosing one mode or the other.
  • Screenshot results stay inline on the current page and clear when the reader moves to another page.
  • The Screenshot tooltip now explains when to use it for missed bubbles or small regions.
